Dorset Crescent takes its name from Dorset County in the United Kingdom. It is a curved street that is close to several kindergartens and school campuses. The rest garden is located at the junction of Dorset Crescent and Devon Road, forming a triangular space. At its east end lies a Chinese banyan named pun-gan-tsz-tze, meaning ‘The Rooted Wise Man’ and was chosen as one of Hong Kong’s King Trees in 1997. It has a broad canopy, long branches and dense foliage. It is also currently listed in the Register of Old and Valuable Trees of Hong Kong. The remaining area is covered with turf, with several sacred figs and candlenuts scattered. Dorset Crescent and Devon Road are connected by a single path that runs through the rest garden. Given that most of the garden area is surrounded by railings, the only usable spaces on site are two benches.
